Rabid Wolf Spider
Rhabidosa rabida

Oklahoma City, OK, USA

Despite their name, these spiders are not rabid, nor do they exhibit any such affiliated behaviors. They can however run very fast when evading a threat, or pursuing prey. They are not threatening to humans as their venom is designed to help them subdue other arthropods.
