Description

There have been 28 species of sharks recorded for the Revillagigedo Archipelago, Colima, Mexico. Of those, at least ten different species have been observed on nearshore reefs within the islands. Whitetip reef sharks are the most common species and they look for refuge and places to rest in caves of seamounts.
