Description

Albino turtles occurs at a rate of only 1-in-10,000, according to an Australian government estimate. The International Union for Conservation of Nature lists green sea turtles as threatened, with pollution, by-catch in fishing nets and development of their nesting beach grounds as the biggest challenges turtles face.
